Hi Michael, Sorry for the slow response. Yes, it is possible to restrict the z thickness, just use the “set range restrictions” option in the l)imits menu. You can also plot cross section slices via option 1 in the x) menu.
The smoothing length tool is just my SPH code, Phantom, with a utility built onto the front end. If you send me your bitbucket username I can add you to the repository to access that. I’ve been meaning to craft a cut-down basic utility that just makes the smoothing lengths for splash, I will consider your email another prod to sit down and do that.
