Hi Dr. Price,
I think I figured it out.  I just wrote all of the smoothing lengths and
densities to the respective snapshot.hsml and snapshot.dens file that
splash needs (I should have looked harder in the user manual for this
before emailing, and for that I apologize).  Thank you, though!
