lets clear a few things up
one, ceramic coating other then for looks adds not one iota of hp to a
saturn, noone has proven the hotshot to be more hp, all cars vary 1-2 hp for
many reason, next ceramic coating is just for looks, our cars valves can
only suck in and throw out so much (a reason why a plain k+n cone slapped on
the end of the tube is just as effective as a hotshot or iceman intake, the
valves can only draw in so much,a k+n cone by itself serves plenty of
airflow and a stock header provides more then enough out go.) ceramic
coating on a 500 hp car is one thing, on a 140 hp , at best, car it makes
not one inch of difference.
next, when we sell headers we gladly send a working 02 on request, some
people prefer a new one, last, if your messing with cars you should at least
have basic knowledge to weld up your own stock header, personally, on my
cars? id take the stock and save the extra dough, and no, im out of them
right now so im not trying to sell one, im just clearing the air from a guy
who built more professional race engines here then anyone.
if you dont have a welder any welder that charges you more than 25 bucks for
that simple 10 minute weld is charging to much.
to recap, now, yes, a used header is far cheaper then a hotshot.

get a 92 header, you'll get a bad O2 sensor with it or you won't get one at
all. So $125-150 for the header, add another $60-80 for a 92 O2 sensor and
your at about $200. If you want to ceramic coat it (I did because the
header looked like arse and I wanted the added benifit of ceramic coating
it) that's another $100 easy. Also, the 92 downpipe is longer than the
stock ones for the 93+ which means you have to cut your piping and slid back
your cat. If you wanted it welded its another $50 or so. Now we're about
the same as the Hotshot with a lot less hassle.
