Last note and this topic should be dropped. SPAM is defined as unsolicited email usually advertising a product or service. We do not advertise for any product or service as an organization (although individuals can recommend from their own personal experience) and everyone on this list signed up voluntarily either at Topica originally or at the SPOC web site so that is solicitation of the emails on this list. Anti-span legislation from any state (which only 22 states have anti-spam laws and nothing federal) would not be applicable because it was solicited.
For future reference anyone who voices their disinterest in SPOC or any of it's resources please refrain from the types of replies we saw today and let the admins take care of the administration ourselves. I realize that we take pride in our Saturns but let's not let that cloud our judgment into starting another flame war as we have seen time and time again over the years.
