Great thought. I figured that after posting the info two or three times it
would be bloody blatantly obvious how to unsubscribe, but apparently some
people don't read.
I just tried to change the footer text, but although I'm a list admin I was
denied access. Neil, since you're the list "owner," could you plug in
something like this?

To unsubscribe from the list at any time, send an e-mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with any subject, and in the message text,
"Unsubscribe spoc".

That's what I posted on the SPOC NE web site, and amazingly, we haven't had
any of the "take me off this stupid list" e-mails that the SPOC list has
had.
