Exactly Chris.  I have a 97 SC2 and there is a TSB on the fuel pump for that year.  I 
had the same hesitation during starts where it wouldn't fire the
fire time, but maybe the second or third.  Symptoms are similar to bad gas, cut fuel 
line, etc.  I think the warranty work is covered up to 75,000
miles.  When I had mine done I was just at 80k, but since I bought the car at 76k and 
the problem was happening when I got it, they did the work for me.
Cost ended up being $100 since it was considered an "extended warranty" repair even 
though I didn't have any warranties on my car.  Don't complain,
though, since the new fuel pump and labor was about $800 total.
