Actually I saw this too and regapped mine as well. Then I saw that after spraying for anything longer than 1 second the engine started hesitating almost like being flooded. I talked to my NOS tech that sold me the kit and he said bring it back to stock gap, I did and everything was fine again. This was with an NX single nozzle system so I don't know about other systems.
