Solution: I bent my accelerator pedal a bit...made it closer to my brake and clutch level anyway...sort of a scary experience since depending on what kind of metal was used you could end up with a nicely bent part or two parts :) It was very close to the bumpstop without my floor mats in place, they probably designed it not taking into account the nicer mats.
I will test drive it soon, too much sun right now working on my car and my dad's boat..plus CCOH levels (ethyl alcohol/beer) are much too high :). Chris --- ...
