Ok....I just got back from vacation, but let me see if I can help you
out...

The system from NOS is a very complete system and contains everything
you need to instantly add power to your car, however, I would strongly
recommend adding a NOS pressure gauge, bottle heater, and bottle
blanket. The pressure gauge will let you know when you are running
optimum pressure and the heater works great for when the outside
temperature doesn't allow your pressure to build up enough.

Now then, on to the safety question. The NOS setup uses a throttle
activated switch. Once the system is armed, any time that you are at
wide open throttle, the system is spraying. If you know your car well
enough and are a decent driver, you will be able to watch your RPM's
when spraying. If you go over the factory rev limiter and the fuel cuts,
you can possibly damage your engine.

NOS and MSD both sell window switches that can be set up to allow
activation between certain RPM's only which may keep you from spraying
outside of desired ranges. These switches are expensive, but may save
you from engine damage.

My current setup relies solely on my knowing how to drive my car and
when to let up. Whenever my foot drops to the floor, my system is adding
an additional 75 HP. This isn't always great coming off of the line, but
once I am in 3rd gear and have traction, it is truly a rush.
