On paper that SHOgun should have creamed the SC but , it was closer than I made it seem ,hehe. The Festiva deserves mad props for maintaining agility among some major drivetrain mods.

Here in the desert the SC only had a prob with a leaky master cylinder and that didnt hurt them considering they spent 6 hours at the dealer, lol. 

On a side note, did you guys catch the white Chrysler Mini Van... that dude was warming up burritos ON his intake manifold,LOL. I will pop that pic up as well. hehe

The SC1Lap and the SHOgun were very well matched - they kept it
very close throughout the week. The owner of the SHOgun was a
veteran Lap Dog, and a nice guy, At IRP, he took time out from
prepping his car to show us the engine.

UM, the tranny was SAAB, that is true. But the engine was a
hand built ( several times, one being the Monday night before
OLOA started - while still in the car!) 2.2 Ecotec, standard in the
L200, just force fed.
