Tuesday, getting his car ready for Lime Rock.

I'm going to try to make it, but due to recent developments it'll be a
little tricky. A friend of mine is instructing at a SCDA track event at
Lime Rock next Monday and Tuesday. His roll cage isn't done yet. He made
me an offer I couldn't refuse - co-drive the Miata for both days, and in
return he gets me into the event and pays my registration. Um, where do I
sign up? :) Mind you, I already had plans to drive Lime Rock with Boston
BMW on Tuesday the 2nd. That'll be 3 days at that track within a week! And
since I'm out of work anyway, vacation time isn't an issue.
So anyway, I gotta work things out to get to Lime Rock early Monday morning,
and RI is absolutely not on the way there. I may be able to work out a plan
where I'd load up the Miata and trailer, bring the whole kit 'n' caboodle to
the garage day (yeah, I know it's not a Saturn - deal :) ), then spend the
night somewhere in between there and Lime Rock rather than head home. We'll
see.
Worst case, if I don't make it, it's because of a totally sick amount of
track time, so I hope you'll be able to forgive me. :)
