I just wanted to personally thank everyone for coming out to the
Carlisle show this year...as always our attendance rose so much that
they had to EXPAND our parking area. At last count I had 52 Saturns but
that got confusing as the day went on and more people rolled in.

Although all the SPOC Saturns were sweet looking, someone had to
win...so as soon as my contact at Carlisle Productions gets me the list,
I will post up for everyone to see.

Personally, I thought it was one of the best shows we ever had. We
behaved (because Mr. McQuay wasn't around raising a ruckus...j/k) and
only got a few burnouts. Although we were one of two clubs (I think)
that had the posted sign on their tent about excessive drinking (Dave
K., see what you started last year!) and also we were graced with an
honorary babysitter from Carlisle productions (Eli, you rocked!) who
started off on the good foot with us when he was going to get us a broom
so we could sweep the stones away from our burnout pit. We had some
casualties as well, unfortunately...one grenaded engine, one black eye
(Dan I., I told you that when the song Kung Fu Fighting comes on, get
out of little Bryan C. way!), and one busted up knee (Richard A., we
missed you bud!). We carried on the tradition of the Saturn pile into
the car and drive past the Hondas playing "Got Rice"...if you have never
seen around 10 full grown people cram into a Saturn, then you missed out
of this opportunity. We had several support vehicles on staff (2 WRX's,
2 Eclipse's) and an awesome cook out (who says that I can't cook?!).

Overall, I think it was one of the best times we could have possibly
had. Thank you to all who helped and this year cut my losses severely
:).

Next show up is Import War in Hershey, PA...on May 19th, 2002...then the
all GM Nationals...and of course, we have NOPI looming on the horizon.

Which show will be the biggest and the best...stay tuned sports fans...

Have fun, drive safe, ENJOY THE RIDE!
