I know, friends, this is a wee bit "off topic" but I figured all you spooksters might have an answer...I had contacted the Voice of Korea (the radio station in the DPRK as you know I'm sure) and mentioned how nice their choirs were in their broadcast - I received a letter a while ago from someone at the station saying they would send me a Korea Publications catalogue where I could order books and tapes and CDs and stuff. Finally, the other day, I got the catalogue - but it came in an envelope with Russian stamps and a Russian return address (haven't had a chance to sit down with my Russian-English dictionary to transliterate and transcribe the Cyrillic...I speak the language but read it atrociously.). I'm wondering why it wasn't sent directly from the DPRK or even Beijing! Anyway I know it's not the usual spy numbers chat but I thought it was interesting anyway. later, "da svedanya," 73s, Sue Sue Hickey, Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, Canada ______________________________________________ "I am in terrible ignorance of everything."
