Thanks, Mark! I'm glad to have the correct info. In ham radio contests, we usually use cut numbers, but only some of them. In this case, T=0, A=1, E=5, N=9. So "599 100" gets translated to "ENN ATT". The other numbers are generally sent in full. There have been suggestions for other cut numbers but in a contest situation where your score gets penalized for copying the wrong thing, some people haven't been willing to learn the other cut numbers.
