Hey, y'all.
Just stumbled onto a bizarre station on my shortwave. It was somewhere in the early 11s (I'm using a crappy analog radio right now, so I don't know the exact location), and consisted of a strange, echoing, asexual voice- similar in quality to what you get when you play a woman's voice in slow motion, a vaguely creepy asexual sound. It listed off a series of letters in the phonetic alphabet, repeating the series at least twice (I tuned in at the middle of the broadcast). I picked it up at around 0030 UTC, from northern Alabama.
Here's a partial transcription of the end of the broadcast (the voice was so distorted and the quality so poor that I couldn't pick everything up):
Romeo Victor Mike ? Zulu Hero ? Mike ? ? Yankee Foxtrot Yankee Victor Uniform Libra Libra ? ? ? Hero ? Julius ? Zulu November ? Bravo
[some kind of ending message went here, followed by a pair of beeps]
Anyone have any idea what it is?
