I started hearing Sam on 4300 about a half hour after
sunset here and on 3700 about 45 minutes after sunset.
My guess would place it in the vicinity of
Albuquerque, NM (or Roswell?), somewhere in northern
Texas or Colorado. Probably not farther west than
that.
It's quite copyable now at about 2 hours after sunset
on 3700 with an S5-S7 signal.
