Dear Sue Hickey and fellow surveyors of the Ether;
In post-nineties bubbaworld, one maintains perspective and sanity by
seeing things from the perps' viewpoint. BPL is good, from perspective of
those
who during the nineties were alarmed by citizens who took their news from
shortwave, rather than the 'three stooges' of bigmedia TV news.
'Everything must be a profit center' mentality took hold. Greaseballs
repackaged old method - carrier current - of broadcasting 'radio' over wires,
as
well as radiating miles from them, unfortunately.
Jamming shortwave? Too blatant. Reminiscent of cold war eastern bloc and
present day Kuber. With nineties' 'it's not what it appears to be' know-how,
wholesale shortwave jamming and greaseball-avarice were combined under dubious
monniker, BPL.
Destructive? Indeed, there goes our hobby. Military dead against BPL. But,
BigBiz Greaszola Interests and Media Mind Control Tinpots are happy. And so
should we be.
