Hi list,

Been hearing a blank carrier on 5919 for about 4 hours
so far, very very strong signal in my Pennslyvania
USA locale.

I make the freq to be 5919.958 kHz. Solid S9+20 signal here in Maryland. Definately local propagation characteristics. Reminds me of E5 carriers from Warrenton, in fact. Hmm... Bears watching.

I got 9519.975 with a receiver with GPS disciplined frequency standard. However, it was -127dBm, so I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Greetings from Northern Colorado...

That reminds me, I have not calibrated the SDR14 against WWV lately... doing that yields a carrier freq of 5919.957. Hmm, not too far off from before. -69dBm here with a 48mb dipole aimed towards euroland (and presumably picking up off the back end aimed somewhat towards Virginia ;-)

I need to look into getting a GPS freq ref to feed into the SDR14.

I guess I will just leave the 545 tuned in, and listen to hear if any audio pops up.
