Greetings Jason and bonne nuit a vous! I spent time in Paris and loved it of course. Low cost radio? A lot of the people who contribute to this list have very expensive equipment (I am not one of them) but if you want to get started, my first radio - other than the old ones my father had - was a Grundig YB300 PE; it cost about $95 Canadian (not sure what this is in euros, probably 80 or so?), and the one I have now is a little more expensive, a Sangean ATS-818, that model isn't made anymore but there are similiar ones, can't remember the number, they're Sangean ATS something or other and mine cost about $300 Canadian I think.) Good luck! Sue Sue Hickey Forum editor, the Messenger CIDX (Canadian International DX) Club "I am in terrible ignorance of everything."
