V2c 7520 Khz. AM; 11/7/05; 0857 UTC+. Call 888 12 with message beginning at
0900. This transmission came up per usual schedule directly under WHRI at
SINPO 55555 making it nearly unreadable. I couldn't listen to anything much
beyond getting the call up because of the overwhelming signal from WRHI.

One might think the Cubans would move that broadcast. It has to be booming
in to Cuba also, and is essentially worthless to North America. Of course
maybe North America isn't the target. :-)

41 meters drops out during the nighttime for local coverage, especially now that we're getting into the low part of the solar cycle. Doing some quick forecasts with DX Toolbox (http://www.blackcatsystems.com/software/dxtoolbox.html) indicates that virtually all of North, Central, and South America would be covered, except for a zkip zone centered around Cuba extending over much of the Caribbean. Florida is in the skip zone as well, for what it is worth.

WHRI should have a similar skip zone around it. Of course the order of magnitude (or more!) difference in transmitter powers between the two transmitters makes things a little more complicated.

Cuba is closer to South America than WHRI, and may produce stronger signal levels, so my guess would be that is a likely target area. Or somewhere in the WHRI skip zone? Hmm....
