I am looking for a better and brighter slide projector lens for my Kodak
projector. The Ektanar C 102 to 152mm 3.5 plastic one that I have is
adaquate, but I am looking for something sharper and more evenly
illuminating around the edges. Brighter would be nice too. I saw a nice
(used) one today in a local camera store. A nice Schneider 2.8 glass
multicoated Kodak mount for only $149.00, but unfortunately it was a 26mm
and the projection distance for a 60x60m inch image is only about four feet.
Obviously meant for rear projection or a slide show in a closet. Anyone use
a decent metal/glass bright Kodak mount projection lens that they would
recomend? 110 - 120mm is the desired focal length.

While I'm at it, next silly question: A source for 5000K FHS type projector
bulbs? I know they exist, but not sure in FHS type.

If you got more than one of my last post, sorry for the clutter. This is
what happens when your mailer software dumps the contents of your outgoing
mailbox out, locks up your PC and then gives you no confirmation in the sent
box when you fire it back up. I reinstalled the software from the CD. I'm
just thrilled with AT&T.

Should have a couple more rolls of Astia to look through by week's end.
