Dave, I took your suggestion and compared Calumet's Essentials catalog to a B&H ad. There is a 30-40 percent difference in price but I am wondering if we are being blinded by this low price and need to be aware of something else.
As an example, B&H sells both USA and grey market equipment with prices posted side by side on their web page, at least for Nikon lenses they do. Unfortunately that page does not list film yet so I can't confirm my suspicions about this film. This large difference in prices strongly suggests to me this is grey market film with the associated risk of uncontrolled shipping conditions including lack of temperature control while in that aluminum oven known as a shipping container. This is not a kick in the pants to Fuji as we can buy grey market Kodak stuff as well from NY dealers. It is good to hear you have not had a color shift with any of these films. May it always be that way but I am hesitant to go grey market. If I buy grey market from any NY dealer it has to be shipped in another aluminum oven called a truck trailer all the way to California. Those interior temps get to 130 farenheit in the summer. This also raises cain with paper for printing presses which is my experience.
