While I was out, the Fuji lab returned my call about my inqury into slide mount embossing. She said that they cannot eliminate the embossing step because the mounts "come that way". I didn't call her back, but I doubt they come that way. She probably meant that they come out of the mounting press that way. Just like A&I mounted slides. I will follow up on this some time when I have more time. The lack of embossing on slide mounts is not impeding my labeling progress these days, but my lack of time is.
