If you prefer rocks and desert like environment, Crozier Canyon west of Seligman or the Crookton Cutoff or the areas to go. Crozier Canyon is single track and much like it was years ago. The Crookton Cutoff is gentle curves, big cuts and fills. In all areas a four wheel drive would be preferred but not necessary unless there has been a lot of rain.
If you preferr greener pastures, i.e. trees and grass instead of sage brush and cacti, the area to concentrate is between Darling just east of Flagstaff and Williams. This area is covered with pine forests, and to me, is the prettiest part of the entire former ATSF. It is a target rich environment and will be the focal point of my next trip west next April. Coconino and Kaibab National Forest maps are of some benefit along with a couple of others. But as is usually the case, the area you want will be in the corner of three or four different maps requiring you to get them from several different NFS offices. If you have more specific questions I will be glad to answer them for you. Otherwise you are on your own. Have fun and take plenty of cheese, er film.
