Anybody out there had good/bad/mixed luck with graduated neutral density filters for rail photography, like the ones all the big landscape photogs howl about? I've never been a fan of filters (but don't shoot B&W at all), but I did buy some Cokin grads a while back and have fooled around with them a few times.
