Greetings:

I have enjoyed the following three books very much. Many of you
do also, I'm sure.

1. Fred Hyde's Milwaukee Road book. This might be the best I have
seen. Even though I'm not a big Milwaukee fan.

2. Sanders' Rio Grande book. Excellent. Every time I look at it I
tell myself, why shoot anything but Kodachrome 25?

3. Mc Millan's Route of the Warbonnets. Reading this when I was
still a teenager really gave me the bug to go west, and I did.
I still look at it often.

Several of you gave high marks to Benson's Echoes down the Canyon.
I really like this one too. Have any of you seen Ted's all Nevada
issue of Trains Magazine? This is a classic. If you have not seen
it I suggest you hunt down a copy. They are around. I have one I
keep stored in a Zip Lock bag. Great stuff!
