Dave, I just heard a rumor that Canon will release a new camera early next year that replaces(?) the A2E that had 5 focusing spots that your eye is supposed to select. Sounds great in principle. Anyway, this new camera is supposed to have many more "eye-focusing" points. I don't know anything more about it than what I have just mentioned. If there are any Canon insiders out there who can shed some insight into this story, I would be interested in hearing about it. John C.
