I am sure that you are all tired of talking about different railfan
magazines, but I have been on vacation and would like to add my two cents
worth.
I look at the magazines when I get a chance, mostly when someone
donates them to my model rr club or get to the main library. I would like
to say that as an amateur, I want a magazine that gives me good pictures,
they do not have to be great. I use the pictures to give me ideas to
improve
my own picture taking. In addition I want to know where good places
are to take pictures of trains, especially when I am travelling and only
have a couple of hours to take pictures. I also appreciate in depth
articles
on single aspects of the rail industry, whether that is building of
particular
car types, or how an industry uses the railroads for raw material input and
finished product output.
As I said my 2p worth, since I was in England for vacation. No more
from me on the subject. Now lets talk about where and how to get some good
RXR pictures.
