From: Dave Cohen I have too, and he has assured me that none of the SPORRS images are on his site. Furthermore, I am communicating with him via E-mail today about his site and his methods. I would like to have him put a disclaimer on his site that he will remove any and all images if asked by their owners, along with a proper copyright notice. After conversing with him via E-mail, he seems to have good intentions, but he's a bit short on ethical knowledge of the Net. I'm working on that with him. Problems don't go away by ignoring them. Also, he just applied for a subscription to the SPORRS Mailing List. I have not approved it and added him yet, and I really have no objection to doing so at this point (might be helpful in sorting out some little details and convincing him to correct some things), but I need to know if you guys want him on here first. I say we give him a shot and let him clean up his act and see what happens. I can always remove him. He already found the SPORRS Web Site earlier. Copyright matters need to be addressed on a case for case basis on the Web. And I think it's in our best interest that I paste in a part of his response to me: ---Begin paste--- (from Rick Gardner) Well I just took a look and I'm quite impressed. I will tell you that none of the shots on the home page are ones that I have seen before so there is little change of them being on my site. I am automaticly suspect of shots that look as good as these. I have no intention of stealing anything. If you like I will add a link to your site on my main links page. http://Rick's.trainpage.com/links.html In addition there is a self add link page that you may add a link to yourself. http://www.trainpage.com/RRLinkSelfAdd.html ---End paste--- I will not let him link the SPORRS site without a proper copyright notice on his site, along with mine.
