John T. McGriff owns the Southern California Railfan Web site at
        http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Cowpens/

His e-mail address is: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

His site has plenty of copyright notices all over it. He's in the US
Navy and a part-time sheriff's deputy.

I didn't spot any of my photos on the site in question. My *.jpg
files all begin with "C" and the image number. That's the
file designation after I've embedded the copyright notice into
the image file.

A followup to Dave on this topic: Yes, there are many of us out there
who care very much about copyright. However, sometimes you won't
get much in the way of followup to a message because you've stated
your position extremely well -- and everyone agrees.
