Well, any time I've subscribed to a list like this, EVERY issue seems to
get blown hugely out of proportion simply because there are so many
folks out there who want to put their two cents in. Somehow the stuff
that people type comes off "sounding" more worked up than it would
coming about in a normal real conversation, simply because we sometimes
interpolate the tones and inflections in our minds into someone else's
text. But, that's another discussion altogether on the philosophy of
realness....

Especially in cyberspace, where by conventional wisdom most laws as now
written don't apply, even if the principles, as in this case, do.

Yeah - although he seems rather indiscriminate. (And that's another
thing about the Internet - nobody's editing the damn thing...) Most of
the randomly selected images which I saw looked like a load of hooey.
Only a small percentage were of any interest. Some of the European
stuff was cool. Didn't see any of the type shots you would see on
SPORRS. I guess that makes it hard to get worked up about him stealing
images. He really comes off in tone and content like a little kid
saying "hey, look at all the pitchers I cut out of de magazines = I got
almost 10,000s! Ain't they cool?" and we're all here saying "uh, yeah.
Real neat kid. Did you ask anyone if you could do that?" and we're
thinking "poor kid - that stuff looks like hell..."

Well, I hate that he is lifting this stuff. I also hated his response
to Dave even more. Don't need to see him on this list - that's taken
care of. Everyone who wants to should sign into his guest book and let
him know his methods are not appreciated and that he should ask
permission. Then, we let him go back to his room and play with his
little toys. He is but an insignificant speck on an insignificant speck
in the whole vast immensity of the Chaos of the electronic universe.
