I got a glimpse of BNSF FP45 #90 this morning in a trailing position
behind a GE Superfleet Northbound in Merriam, KS, and remember seeing
#93 last summer also in a trailing position. Does anyone know how many
BNSF still has and if they ever are on the point of container/stack or
pig trains anymore? The train it was pulling today was a mixed bag of
hoppers, boxes, etc. Pretty sad sight. What I'd give for one last photo
op of this beautiful locomotive which I first witnessed 30 years ago
leading #17 through Northern Missouri. In my opinion, they truly
represented EMD's finest hour.
