While I cannot say whether the closure is temporary and/or due to the
impending POSSIBLE sale of the property (remember, a portion is also
available for rent). Of all the standard things associated with a real
estate transaction, a "railfan evaluation" would certainly make for an
unusual attachment to the transaction.

I think the Cheese doodles attracted  the gulls in numbers significantly
greater than what is normally found there, which increased the attendant
problems proportionally.
