Right, your Minolta lenses won't fit. :)

Actually that was more of a news item for those of us on this list that
paid more for their F5s already, and for those currently thinking about
buying one.  A friend of mine here in town just ordered one from B&H for
$2300.

I stuck with my X-700 for years.  That was one of the few cameras that I
actually wore out from use.  And you can't beat the price on Minolta MD
lenses.
