Dear All Another good reason to carry a second camera body.
Two years ago I dropped my trusty Nikon F2A onto pavement at Kingman AZ. Mashed the prism and lightmeter but good. Replacement prizm with meter very hard to find. My brother, a geologist dropped a Russian Zenit SLR off a cliff in Norway. Needless to say he didn't bother to retrieve it after a 400 ft flight. Any other dramatic camera demises out there ?.
