And of course...these failures ALWAYS occur when you are preparing to take that
"once in a lifetime shot"...never while shooting routine rosters in a terminal
somewhere.

 Some of my best winter snow shots of all time ( I think) were on a roll that
never made it from the post office to the Fairlawn lab.  I never do "bulk
mailings" for fear that an entire trip worth of photos will be lost, or if
there is a problem with the chemicals at Kodalux on a particular day, your
entire batch will suffer.  If  I  have 8 or 10 rolls to mail - I do 1 or 2 per
day from different post offices.
