A bad day at La Grange..... I once had my Canon F-1 with a motor drive (heavy) and a 200 mm 2.8 in a small backpack. Well anyway, the strap on the backpack came apart. The camera landed on the lens and nearly broke the lens barrell near the aperature ring clean in half. Later that week I bought a camera bag.
I still have the camera and the lens. I had the lens repaired and it works fine. Gary Clark Griffith, Indiana -> SPORRS: 'Serious Photographers Of Railroad Related Subjects' -> Web Site: http://www.anet-stl.com/acphotog/sporrs/ -> Message © 1998 SPORRS® - All Rights Reserved
