When checking over the camera after returning from taking Pict. of the ACE train I found a nick in the polar filter that was big enough to feel with your finger nail. I will order a new Polar Filter Monday not a new front element for the lens. I am a firm believer in keeping some thing in front of the lens. Optical flat,sky, UV, Haze, as I would rather replace one of these than have the Lens fixed. Even though some times you can see this extra glass in front of the lens!
