Their used stuff does accurately reflect their ratings for the most part. 
Been happy with my occasional purchases from Del's.

They also price high and buy low.  And pay slow.  Took six months to get a
check from Del Hegland on the last lot of stuff that I sold him.  Of course
we had to argue over the condition of the equipment once they received it. 
Apparently Del's rating system only stands up for selling merchandise, not
buying it.  You're lucky if your mint- cameras are 8-s suddenly.  Then when
they list them for sale, they are mint- again.  Happened three times,
that's where I get this opinion.  I'm not talking about trade-ins here,
this is equipment that they are buying outright.  

I have been satisfied as a customer with each piece of gear that I have
bought from Del's over the years.  I limit it to stuff that I can't aquire
elsewhere.  California really is another world. 

Overall, I like Del's.  Where else can you buy something from the West
Coast and feel like you had to negotiate like you were in New York?

Remember when we used to shoot trains, guys?
