As if the normal constipation on the Union Pacific isn't enough these days,
now we have a nice little 1/8 mile long 10 mph slow order over some fresh
bumpy panel track at Sedalia Sub MP 16-3/4 on the South track. The North
track has a slow order on it too, from related alignment damage from the
recent boulder collision/locomotive derailment. This area is immediately
west of the Museum of Transportation, right at the base of the EB Kirkwood
hill grade. Not a good spot for a new bottleneck. I shot EB Amtrak #30
creeping through there Sunday afternoon with Genesis 68 for power. Finally
finished that roll of Kodak T-max 400CN, which is a B&W C-41 film. Anyone
tried this stuff yet? It's supposed to be similar to Ilford XP-2. Maybe I
will scan some and put it on a page somewhere to look at.
