    You wrote that there's a difference in contrast in the film, and
that is sound familar.   I guess  have personal preference for highly
contrasty images.  I date this preference back to my crayon days when I
use to use up my black crayons while outlining each delinated section of
my coloring projects.  But anyways here's my next question: Does Dave
consider your Baring Amtrak shot to be too contrasty.  Along those same
lines I'm curious if Charlie's "'Pumpkin in the fog" shot was on film
that was specifically selected because of the contrast qualities, or for
color correctness.I'll go back to see what the caption material says
about the shot.  But given the lighting of that day would Velvia been a
good choice to "pump-up and/or exagerate the color of the engines to
offset the gray overcast of the location.   Charlie if you're reading
along with this message please give me a little insight in why you
picked the film you did on those shots.
