DRB asked if Kodak was still processing Kodachrome in Canada. We can still buy processing included film up here, but all processing is now done in the States, and our service has gone down the tubes since then. When the Canadian lab closed, we also lost our three compartment plastic boxes to those dreadful two part cardboard ones. After the Toronto lab was closed a few years ago, our processing was going to Fairlawn with normally an in Monday, back Friday service, which eventually fell off to about ten day service. Last year, our processing from this part of Canda started going to the Minneapolis Lab. Now, we're lucky to get stuff back inside two weeks, and the quality is, shall we say, less than optimal. Complaints don't seem to be registering. It's to the point where several of us are now considering mail ordering our film from NYC, and doing a biweekly courier package to a lab in the States such as A&I in L.A. Anybody able to pass along an email contact at A&I so we can get some info? We've also considered investing in one of the new mini-labs, but we seem to be a little short of the amount of cash that is probably required. I really hate that part!
