I have shot several rolls of E100S, and it's pretty damn good!! The only
thing you have to watch for is the color yellow. If full sun, a 500th at F8
looks good on SP, Warbonnets, Amtrak, and other's. Yet yellow somtimes goes
nuclear. UP shooters should test it very carefuly. Some times, there is no
prob, otehr times it will send a slide to the trash.
As for it compared to Provia, it's a matter of color taste. Provia to me
is a bit cold, blue in cast. While E100S is a warm yellow to rediah cast. You
would be best to compare side by side and see which you like better.
As for shrpness, E100S is great!!! Very sharp, and there is NO grain!!
