Hello Fellow Fans: I recently read in several fan magazines that the BNSF tunnel just west of Guernsey, Wyoming will be daylighted with the project expected to begin around April 1st. Does anyone know how long this project will last or how long the Wendover-Northport line will be closed? I expect a majority of the traffic will be detoured via Crawford Hill and this will be a good time to revisit what I consider one of the best train watching stops in the country. Also, does anyone know if the dirt road (Horseshoe Road), if you want to call it that, is still passable up to the horseshoe cruve on Crawford Hill? Last I heard it was no longer maintained beyond the last farm house and impassable. Thanks for all your help!
