Do you guys believe everything that a manufacturer says about it's own
products?  The new Nikon scanner is still 2700 dpi.  Go figure.  Hopefully
the Nikon branded software will work with the scanner this time.  The new
scanners should be available in May, so after allowing proper time for the
Nikon backorder to drive up demand, whoever orders one should have it by
August perhaps.  Maybe the Yen will recover by then.  Please let us know if
the scanner is any good at that time, or if this spring's advertisement
really was just hype.
