You know, I'm really with John and Dave, I can't think of anywhere they don't look good. On our sojourn to Montana last fall they looked really great with the snowy backdrop at Two Medicine Trestle, and they certainly look great out of Ludlow (where they really belong!) When you think about it, that paint scheme, with relatively minor variants, has been around for going on 60 plus years. Now, much as we tend to denigrate the borg, you have to give a tip of the hat to the UP too. Their yellow, and gray has stood the test of time for about as long equally well. It is a classy combination of colors that show up well against almost any background, and is compatible with almost every locomotive variation you can think of, from E's to turbines, slugs to SD45T-2's, etc, ad infinitum. Photographically they both are eye catching. So, what else compares? ======================================================= -> SPORRS: 'Serious Photographers Of Railroad Related Subjects' -> Web Site: http://www.anet-stl.com/acphotog/sporrs/ -> Message © 1998 SPORRS® - All Rights Reserved =======================================================
