Since I no longer shoot B&W, I wanted to ask how you feel about B&W images
that were shot as color images ?  Most scanners will allow you to scan a
color image in B&W.  I have played around with this and found that almost
all good color images with strong lighting and little shadow detail also
make good B&W images.  In fact, with a reasonably priced Epson Inkjet
printer and some good quality glossy photo quality paper, I have produced
some darn good B&W 8x10's from color slides.
