I wonder if anyone out there can give some tips on taking photos in locomotive shop buildings. I have been on several shop tours and it seems like getting any kind of decent image is really tough My questions are what film do you use and what do you do about the weird colors the lights cause. Since most railfans use fairly slow film I was wondering if you go to something faster for indoor work like shops. I don't know how receptive the workers and management would be to flashes. Dave Crammer's photo of Barstow in the most recent Rail News is well lit and free of the odd colors I seem to wind up with.
