Dieter Zakas sent a message:

I read Dieter's response about Photoshop training, and he makes a good
point, that you should get the software that you want to learn so you can
familiarize yourself with it and use it during a class, however I couldn't
see his post anywhere on my mail screen until I clicked 'reply' because all
I got was a black background HTML format screen with white and blue
letters; some advertisement about a store.

I hope the whole list didn't get this mail like this too, but just so we
all know:

1. It is prohibited to post commercial advertisements on this list (you may
'plug' your employer in your post if it is something railroad or
photographically related, and tasteful, and is of general interest to the
list, and you may even give is a URL link to use to go look at it if you
wish, but DO NOT cut and paste any form of commercial advertisement (like
some company's web page) on SPORRS. That is against my company policy,
which is listed at the end of the SPORRS Info File. The Info File is
linked from the SPORRS web site, and the header of every list post.

2. Do not use someone else's or a company's copyrighted ad material without
their written permission (and not on this list anyway). They can take
legal recourse against you for doing that, which is one reason that it is
against my company policy.

3. Please turn off the HTML format on your browsers and use MIME or TEXT to
post to this list to avoid scrambled HTML tags in the text.

Thank you.

Now I am going to disable my mail program from blowing the MIDI diesel horn
when I get mail, and go back to sleep.
