Greetings,

I have accepted the last image for the SPORRS Web Site in its current form.
Please hold off on submitting any more regular material until I get a
redesigned site up there (see the note in the SPORRS Site News section if
you are interested). It will happen, but don't hold your breath (gratis
SPORRS services = hobby priority).

I mentioned in my recent SPORRS editorial that I would get all remaining
member's slides out during the week of 05/30. Unfortunately I wrote the
editorial two weeks before I posted it, and didn't change the date.
However, most of your slides have already been returned, and the rest may
go out tomorrow. This is because I still have ONE MORE image update to put
up on the current web site from these last slides that I have scanned of
yours. Time is a problem with my schedule this month, and I didn't think
you would mind with the drop (thud!) in interest with the site in general.
Everything was/is packed safe for return, with appropriate postage if you
were short, and they are marked "Fragile Photographic Material Hand
Cancel". Had you been paying for these services, I'm sure our envelopes
would have crossed in the mail. :) These are freebies this time. In the
future, for your convenience, there will be a published schedule of my
scanning and digital fees for the site images that I scan them myself,
along with a listing of other digital services that you may choose to use
for your various other imaging projects. And there will be updated specs
for SPORRS digital files submitted in the future. The new site will not be
'a table of thumbnail images' format, but instead, more like what you would
do
yourself if you were doing it yourself (which is why there is nothing new
there now!), so please keep that in mind for future amusement purposes.

Regards,

Dave Cohen
